Un·conscience / Un·gewissenschaft is a card deck developed by artist Ella Ziegler and scientist Prof. Dr. Johannes Lehmann, asking questions about science and natural science. I was commissioned to design the reverse of the cards, drawing a collection of microscopic organisms based on images from Lehmann’s research and arranging them into a dense ornamental composition.
